John has been in the transportation industry for going on 20 years. Originally from Long Island, NY, he began his career as a School Bus Driver for a large and prominent school district. During this time, he visited San Diego California, and never looked back (I mean, it’s San Diego, for crying out loud!).
After moving here, his first job was with Cloud 9 Shuttle where he started out as a Dispatcher, learning all about San Diego as he did. Cloud 9 was purchased by a national ground transportation leader called Supershuttle, where John became a lead Dispatcher and Manager on Duty after 2 years on the job. He was also the first Airport Ground Service Representative Manager for Supershuttle.
In 2012, He became Operations and Fleet Manager where he maintained all the vehicles, while at the same time helping to restructure the Dispatch Department.
John has also had other duties along the way—he was Safety Manager, involved in a safety program to reduce vehicle accidents and unsafe driving conditions in the fleet with the use of state-of-the-art camera systems. From there he became a Master Certified Trainer in teaching other managers statewide on the Safety Program.
With bi-coastal experience in ground transportation, John has had to wear many hats in the ground transportation business. When he takes off his hats, he relaxes with his girlfriend. They enjoy travel, and just being with family. John is also a journeyman in pool and darts and, lucky for his girlfriend, is at home in the kitchen always experimenting with different delicious recipes.
